Louis de Camp (French or American, mid-20th c.), watercolor on paper of a blue pitcher & apples on a farm table, sight size 15 1/2" x 11 1/2' with new mat 20" x 16" and new frame 24 1/2" x 20 1/2"
SPECIAL CONSERVATION NOTE: The painting was originally two pieces of watercolor paper taped together, leaving a noticeable crease that diminished the overall aesthetic of this painting. The left-half of the original painting is the image newly re-matted and re-framed, being sold as a cropped version of the original painting. However, the right-half of the original painting is still intact and lies behind the displayed half. The hidden half is the portion of the original painting where the artist signed his name to the lower-right. Please review the last two images and you will see the portion of the original painting still intact behind the outer image.
